KATHMANDU, June 12: Chief of Gandaki Province Sita Paudel has administered oath of office and secrecy to the newly-appointed Chief Minister Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokharel and four ministers. Pokharel is Parliamentary Party leader of Nepali Congress (NC) in Gandaki Provincial Assembly.
Province Chief administered them oath of office and secrecy at her official residence on Saturday evening. Earlier in the day, Province Chief Paudel had appointed Pokharel as Chief Minister of Gandaki Province as per Article 168(5) of the constitution.

Those administered the oath of office and secrecy as minister include Kumar Khadka of NC, Madhu Maya Adhikari Gurung of CPN(Maoist Center), Hari Sharan Acharya of Janata Samajbadi Party and independent Provincial Assembly member Dipak Manange. The newly-appointed ministers have not been given any ministerial portfolios now.
