In a separate context, Angdembe accused the UML of obstructing parliament with the wrong intention of justifying its unconstitutional move to dissolve parliament. He also urged the UML to stop obstruction in parliament and focus on discussions to resolve the common issues of the ordinary people.

Stating that Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba had held a meeting with the leader of the main opposition party at his official residence to urge them to stop the obstruction in parliament, he said that the government is in favor of smooth functioning of parliament at the earliest.
