Ghimire elected WBCL VP

KATHMANDU, Feb 2: Cricket Association of Blind Nepal (CABN) President Pawan Ghimire has been elected the second Vice President of World Blind Cricket Limited (WBCL), the umbrella organization of cricket playing countries of the world.

KATHMANDU, Feb 2: Cricket Association of Blind Nepal (CABN) President Pawan Ghimire has been elected the second Vice President of World Blind Cricket Limited (WBCL), the umbrella organization of cricket playing countries of the world.



According to a CABN statement, the annual general meeting of the WBCL, formerly known as World Blind Cricket Council, was held in New Delhi on Tuesday.



Indian national Mahentesh GK has been elected president and Ramon Moxly of Australia has been elected general secretary.



The tenure of the committee will be of two years.



Meanwhile, the general assembly has also decided to hold the fifth ODI Blind Cricket World Cup in Dubai in January 2018.
