KATHMANDU, Dec 15: Global IME Bank Ltd is receiving a loan worth US $ 25 million from CDC Group, the development finance institution of the United Kingdom.

The CDC Group and Global IME Bank, in their joint press release, have stated that the fund is expected to enhance the bank’s ability to provide credit to businesses across key economic priority sectors and stimulate economic opportunities throughout the country. “The loan amount will enhance and bolster our lending capacity to businesses across key economic priority sectors, such as infrastructure, construction, manufacturing, agriculture, and tourism of the country,” said Ratna Raj Bajracharya, chief executive officer of Global IME Bank.
