Glory for Nepal at GAM awards

KATHMANDU, May 30: Artist Sarita Dongol bags the Toyota City Assembly Chairman Award, Krishna Gopal Shrestha wins Aichi Prefecture Assembly Chairman Award and Sanjeet Maharjan won Nikkan Industrial Shinbun Award at the Global Art Movement International Art Competition and Exhibition 2018 organized from May 14 to May 20 in Japan.

According to the press statement issued by Classic Gallery, seven Nepali artists participated in the exhibition. The Nepali artists shared the platform with artists from all over the world, including Japan, Netherlands, India, Turkey, and the USA. There were altogether 12 awards in different categories states the press statement.
