KATHMANDU, Oct 1: The price of gold has recorded a significant drop of Rs 800 per tola in the domestic market today.
Fine gold is trading at Rs 108,000 per tola on Sunday, indicating a decrease from Friday's rate of Rs 108,800 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations.

Similarly, the rate for standard gold today is Rs 107,500 per tola. It was sold at Rs 108,300 per tola on Friday.
Additionally, the price of silver has also decreased by Rs 35 per tola today. Today, silver is trading at Rs 1,360 per tola, in contrast to the rate of Rs 1,395 per tola set on Friday.
