Gold price drops by Rs 2,300 per tola

KATHMANDU, Aug 6: The price of gold, which had reached an all-time high, fell significantly on Tuesday. Compared to the previous day, the price of gold has decreased by Rs 2,300 per tola.

KATHMANDU, Aug 6: The price of gold, which had reached an all-time high, fell significantly on Tuesday. Compared to the previous day, the price of gold has decreased by Rs 2,300 per tola.



The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations reports that the trading price of gold has been set at Rs 147,700 per tola. On Monday, gold prices had increased by Rs 300 per tola, reaching Rs 150,000 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver also saw a decline today. The price of silver dropped by Rs 60 per tola, settling at Rs 1,725 per tola on Tuesday. Silver prices had remained stable on Monday.


Gold prices, which had been rising continuously in the international market, have decreased again. On Tuesday, gold was priced at $2,403.46 per ounce, down from $2,453.68 per ounce on Monday.


Silver prices also fell, with silver trading at $27.22 per ounce on Tuesday, down from $28.63 per ounce the previous day.
