Gold price hits new record, trading at Rs 123,000 per tola

KATHMANDU, March 5: The price of gold set a new record in the domestic market on Tuesday. The price of gold has surged by Rs 2,000  per tola today.

KATHMANDU, March 5: The price of gold set a new record in the domestic market on Tuesday. The price of gold has surged by Rs 2,000  per tola today.



According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 123,000 per tola and that of standard gold at Rs 122,400 per tola.

Fine gold was traded at Rs 121,000 per tola, and standard gold at Rs 120,400 per tola on Monday.


Similarly, the price of silver has been fixed at Rs 1,445 per tola today.
