Gold price hits record-high after Rs 1,200 per tola rise on Thursday

KATHMANDU, May 4: The price of gold increased by Rs 1,200 per tola in the domestic market on Thursday. This is the record-high price of the yellow metal.

KATHMANDU, May 4: The price of gold increased by Rs 1,200 per tola in the domestic market on Thursday. This is the record-high price of the yellow metal.



Fine gold is being traded at Rs 111,800 per tola on Thursday. It was sold at Rs 110,600 per tola on Wednesday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Associations.

Similarly, the price of standard gold is set at Rs 111,250 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 110,050 per tola on Wednesday.


The price of silver has also risen by Rs 20 per tola. Silver is traded at Rs 1,445 per tola today.
