Gold price rises by Rs 700 per tola

KATHMANDU, Feb 19:  The price of gold has increased by Rs 700 per tola in the domestic market on Sunday.



The price of fine gold rose to Rs 103,200 per tola on Sunday from Rs 102, 500 per tola on Friday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

The price of standard gold is Rs 102,700 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 102,000 per tola on Friday.


Similarly, the price of silver has also increased by Rs 15 per tola and the metal is being sold at Rs 1,290 per tola. It was traded at Rs 1,275 per tola on Friday.


The Federation has been setting the daily transaction prices of the precious metals in the domestic market based on their prices in the international market on a daily basis.
