Government making legal arrangements to increase investment in education sector: Minister Shrestha

KATHMANDU, Jan 29: State Minister Umesh Shrestha has said that the government is going to make legal arrangements to increase investment in the education sector.

KATHMANDU, Jan 29: State Minister Umesh Shrestha has said that the government is going to make legal arrangements to increase investment in the education sector.



State Minister Shrestha said that the government is going to make separate laws for schools, technical schools and institutions offering higher education classes.

Addressing a program organized by Swostishree Gurukul School at Sano Bharyang in Kathmandu virtually on Saturday, he said that the government is committed to provide access to education and health to all.


Minister of State Shrestha said, "Now that the federal law has been made, three laws are in the process of being formulated. The laws are a school level law, law of technical education and higher education. Once the laws are made, there will be even more investment in the education sector.”


Similarly, he also called upon the private sector investors to be more active in the development of the education sector.
