REPUBLICA, March 25: Leaders and cadres of the All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU), Doti, smeared soot at the District Education Coordination Officer Ananta Paudel, allegedly for seeking a commission.

After smearing the soot, ANNFSU issued a press statement accusing Paudel of nine allegations. Bijayaraj Ojha of the ANNFSU accused Paudel of seeking a commission from the budget meant for the construction of a school building and toilet.
A team led by Ojha himself had smeared Paudel with the soot. Paudel had allegedly asked for 10% commission for the under-construction building of Namadev Basic School of Adarsha-2, appointing teachers on his own and using the bank account of his wife to collect the commission.
