KATHMANDU, March 11: The government has decided to give 43 days of public holiday in 2079 BS. The Ministry of Home Affairs has decided to give 43 days leave in the coming 2079 BS except for Saturday.
The MoHA published the information in the Nepal Gazette on Thursday giving details of the holidays for all public offices across the country from Baisakh 1 to the last day of Chaitra.

In the year 2079, there will be 95 days of public holidays with 52 days of Saturday and 43 days of other holidays.
Similarly, the government has announced that the Dashain festival holiday will be given for six days from October 2 to October 7. The Tihar holiday will be of five days from October 24 to October 28.
