Govt directs public vehicles to deny entry to those without face mask

KATHMANDU, April 19: The government has directed public vehicles to bar those people who are not wearing facemasks from entering the vehicle.

KATHMANDU, April 19: The government has directed public vehicles to bar those people who are not wearing facemasks from entering the vehicle.



A cabinet meeting held this morning took the decision to this effect.

The government has urged the public vehicle operators not to carry passengers more than the seat capacity.


Speaking at a press conference, the Minister for Communication and Technology, Parbat Gurung urged drivers and driver helpers to provide facemask to those without facemask. The vehicles cannot charge more than Rs 10 per mask.
