KATHMANDU, Nov 9: The government has decided to allocate Rs 5 per liter from the infrastructure development tax levied on fuel for the construction of the Budhi Gandaki Hydropower Project.
The Cabinet meeting held on Thursday took this decision.
Eight decisions made by Council of Ministers today
1. All the members of the Council of Ministers including the Prime Minister decided to provide one month's salary for the earthquake victims.

2. To allocate Rs 5 per liter from the infrastructure development tax levied on fuel for the construction of the Budhi Gandaki Hydropower Project.
3. To proceed with the study of Karnali Chisapani Hydropower Project through Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).
4. To take forward the construction of three cricket stadiums as a project of national pride.
5. To instruct the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation to implement the report of the expert committee formed to make suggestions regarding the construction of Nijgadh International Airport.
6. Establish Nepali Embassy in Portugal and appoint Shanil Nepal as ambassador.
7. Approve the Social Media Operation Guidelines, 2080 with amendments submitted by the Cabinet Bill Committee.
8. To approve the National Vocational and Skill Development Training Center (Establishment and Operation) Order, 2080 as amended by the Cabinet Bill Committee.
