KATHMANDU, Feb 12: A senior leader of the ruling Nepali Congress (NC), Bimalendra Nidhi, has said that the NC will step down once the federal parliament gets full shape.
Stating that the NC is currently making homework to prepare the final list of candidates to be sent to the Election Commission under proportional representation (PR) electoral system, Nidhi said that his party will leave the government by next week.

Addressing a function organized by the Nepal Dairy Development Corporation Employees Association to mark its 10th general convention in the capital, the former deputy prime minister and home minister Nidhi said political instability had left public enterprises in financial crisis. He also held political leadership responsible for the weak state of the enterprises.
On the occasion, Nidhi also pointed out the need to bring improvement in the production of milk and its distribution system. He also urged the employees to expand their area of service without making any compromise in the quality of work.
Nidhi also vented his ire against the government employees not willing to go to their deputed workstations. While urging all the employees to go their deputed workstations in the federal governance structure, he expressed confidence that the new federal system would lead the country to the path of economic prosperity.
