KAILALI, Dec 1: A student died when she was crushed by a grader near Dhangadhi Pipal Chautara while going to school.
Chetana Saud, a 15-year-old student of Taranagar, was crushed by the grader while going to school at 10:20AM. She died on the spot.
Teacher accused of beating student to death
According to the District Police Office, Kailali, a grader of Kalika Construction with the registration number Na 1 Ka 975 hit the girl when she was going to school on a bicycle. The grader was being used to blacktop the road near Pipal Chautara. Police have detained the grader driver, Bimal Kumal, 27, a resident of Ward No 28, Chitwan, Bharatpur Metropolitan City. Chetna was a student of class 8 in the local Panchodaya Secondary School, Hasanpur. The students of the school have blocked the road in that area and are chanting slogans.
