PARSA, Dec 15: A child was killed and his grandmother was injured in a road accident at Parwanipur along the Birgunj-Pathlaiya road section this afternoon, police said.
The deceased has been identified as a three-year old Arman Khatiwada of Birgunj sub-metropolis-15 of the district.

The accident took place when a tanker (NL 01 L 7316) hit the child.
The child was crossing the road with his grandmother Sushila Khatiwada when the accident occurred.
Similarly, injured grandmother is undergoing treatment at Narayani sub-Regional Hospital, police added.
Police have arrested the driver and impounded the vehicle for further action. RSS -
