Greta Van Fleet are working on a follow-up to last year's debut record and while we wait for more word on that, they've just dropped the new song "Always There."

While the track is fresh to fans, the recording dates back to the sessions for that first record. "Always There," however, wasn't featured on the full length, but was picked up for the A Million Little Pieces film soundtrack.
"'Always There' was originally recorded for inclusion on Anthem Of The Peaceful Army, but it was ultimately decided the song didn't fit the tone of the album. Thus, it appeared to us serendipitous when 'A Million Little Pieces' requested to use it in the film's soundtrack.
We are pleased to share this song with you," stated the band.
A Million Little Pieces is the film adaptation of the popular and controversial 2003 book of the same name, written by James Frey. Other artists featured on the soundtrack include Velvet Underground, R.E.M., Otis Redding and more.
As for the new record, the last update we have come from the brothers Kiszka as they vowed the new material will be "quite different" from what fans had previously heard on their one full length and pair of EPs.
