Here is a comprehensive list of 141 programs and projects unveiled by Tourism Minister Bhattarai

KATHMANDU, Aug 28: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai made public his one-year work plan amid a press conference on Tuesday.



The minister unveiled his action plan nearly a month after he took the charge. Bhattarai said he would do his best to bring about changes in the tourism, culture and civil aviation sector.

"We have to work together to usher in changes to our legal provisions and policies,” he said during the press conference organized at his ministry. He also vowed to amend existing laws related to culture, civil aviation and tourism to bring changes.


According to the minister's plan, domestic passengers above 70 years will receive 50 per cent discount on their airfare. "We will consult with the stakeholders to implement this policy," he said.
