Himalaya Airlines brings vaccines at no cost

Himalaya Airlines have decided to contribute over Rs 225,000 worth of financial aid by shipping the vaccines free of cost.

KATHMANDU, June 2: Himalaya Airline has shipped as many as 200,000 doses of Verocell vaccine, donated by the Government of Tibet, an autonomous region of China, to fight the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. As stated by the airline, the cargo has been shipped free of cost.



An aircraft of Himalaya Airlines carried 417 boxes of verocell vaccines donated by the Government of Tibet to Nepal on Tuesday. Earlier, the airline had planned to make four flights to Kunming city on Tuesday and Wednesday to bring the vaccines to the country.
