Home minister assures he will seek World Heritage status for Gadhimai Templee

KATHMANDU, Aug 28: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the foreign exchange rates for Thursday, covering 22 international currencies. The US dollar continues to hold steady, unchanged from Wednesday, with the buying rate fixed at Rs 140 and the selling rate at Rs 140.60.

In the European market, the euro is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 162.17 and a selling rate of Rs 162.86, while the UK pound sterling stands stronger at Rs 188.03 (buying) and Rs 188.84 (selling). Likewise, the Swiss franc is pegged at Rs 173.47 for buying and Rs 174.21 for selling.
