Home Minister warns of action against dishonest employees

KATHMANDU, April 12: Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa has directed the officials under the Ministry to work honestly and effectively because the effectiveness of the Ministry depends on the role of chief district officers and police chiefs.

KATHMANDU, April 12: Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa has directed the officials under the Ministry to work honestly and effectively because the effectiveness of the Ministry depends on the role of chief district officers and police chiefs. 



Concluding the three-month training on law and justice for the employees under administration category here today, Home Minister Thapa underscored that CDOs and police chiefs help build Home Ministry's identity. So, the officials in the Ministry and CDOs need to work in tandem and curb the crime and corruption, he argued, adding, "Be aware whether people like your performance."

The employees and security staffs working dishonestly would face stringent action, the Minister warned. 


He informed that with the changed political context, amendment to Police Act the laws relating to public security was in final stage. 


On the occasion, Home Secretary Prem Kumar Rai, and Secretary at Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Rajiv Gautam, hoped that the training would be useful for executing the works in a professional and just manner. RSS
