KATHMANDU, Nov 11: The Ministry of Home Affairs has recommended the promotion of five Superintendents of Police (SP) to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP).

A meeting of the Promotion Recommendation Committee held on Friday recommended the promotion of SP Basanta Rajoure, Rabi Kumar Poudel, Nabin Raj Rai, Bir Bahadur Oli and Chandra Dev Rai.
Cabinet meeting will decide on the recommendation after a week. If people are not satisfied with the recommendation, they can file a complaint before the cabinet makes a decision.
