KATHMANDU, March 1: The House of Representatives is meeting today. The meeting is being held at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwar at 1 PM.
Speaker Devraj Ghimire is scheduled to read out the message received from the President's office. Speaker Ghimire will state according to Rule 212 of Constitution of Nepal 2019 that there is a vacancy for a member of the House of Representatives following the death of JSP's lawmaker elected under the Proportional Representation (PR) electoral system.

Likewise, the proposal to consider the Monitoring and Evaluation Bill, 2022 received from the National Assembly with a message will be presented for decision in the meeting today.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has told the parliament secretariat that there is an agenda to seek permission and present a proposal to present the 'First Amendment Bill, 2079 BS related to the Constitutional Council (Functions, Powers, Rights and Procedures)'.
