KATHMANDU, Jan 10: The election to the Speaker of House of Representatives (HoR) is scheduled for January 19.
Senior-most member of the HoR Pashupati SJB Rana announced the date for the election of HoR Speaker shortly after Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal won the vote of confidence in parliament on Tuesday.

As per the agreement reached among the ruling parties, the CPN-UML is expected to get the post of HoR Speaker.
