House deferred for half an hour following NC’s protest

KATHMANDU, July 16: Main opposition Nepali Congress lawmakers have disrupted the meeting of the House of Representatives.



NC lawmakers created obstruction in the meeting demanding withdrawal of the Medical Education Bill.

Despite requests to take their respective seats by Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara, NC lawmakers continued disrupting the meeting.


Following the disruption, Speaker Mahara deferred the meeting for half an hour.
