Human rights violation cases up in Udayapur: INSEC

UDAYAPUR, Dec 30: Informal Sector Service Center (INSEC), human rights watch dog, has reported that incidents of human rights violations soared up in Udayapur district.

UDAYAPUR, Dec 30: Informal Sector Service Center (INSEC), a non-government organisation working for the protection and promotion of human rights in Nepal, has reported that incidents of human rights violation soared up in Udayapur district.  



 Human rights watch dog reported as many as 63 cases of human rights violations that took place in the district in the year 2017.

 These details were unveiled at an annual review of human rights violations organized prior to the publication of Human Rights Year Book 2018.


 Presenting the details at the program, INSEC district representative Bharat Khadka said domestic violence cases top the list of human rights violations.


 Murder after rape, child rape cases are among those 17 incidents of domestic violence.


 Similarly, report also includes attempted rapes, human trafficking, bomb explosions, polygamy, minor rape cases, among others.
