KATHMANDU, Nov 23: Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that he will contest from Chitwan in the upcoming general elections.
Speaking at a program in Bharatpur on Monday evening, he said that he has been fulfilling his promise made to the people of Chitwan in the last election. He clarified that his candidature will be from Chitwan Constituency No 3 in the upcoming election.

Stating that the Bharatpur Metropolis has been developing, Dahal said that his candidacy would be for taking it to a higher level. He said that land would be distributed to the landless and squatters before the election. “Land will be distributed in the first phase,” he added.
