I will discuss about opening of new 'air route' and fertilizer factory during my India visit: PM Dahal

KATHMANDU, May 28: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that there is a strong possibility of getting a new 'air route' during his upcoming visit to India.



While answering the questions raised on the policies and programs of the next financial year in the meeting of the House of Representatives on Saturday, Prime Minister Dahal said that there will be a discussion on 'trade transit' during his visit to India.

During the discussion, lawmakers asked what would happen to the border issue and the 1950 treaty during the Prime Minister's visit to India. In response, Prime Minister Dahal informed the House that other issues including the Treaty of 1950 will be raised and efforts will be made to find a solution through negotiations.


Prime Minister Dahal also said that opening chemical fertilizers is also a priority of the government. He said that during the visit to India, the issue of opening a fertilizer factory in Nepal will also be discussed.


Prime Minister Dahal is going to India on May 31 for a four-day visit. He is scheduled to meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 1.


The Prime Minister has said that his visit to India will become a new record in favor of Nepal and Nepalese people.
