Addressing an election campaigning program and during the door-to-door election campaign in Nawalparasi, Tripathi claimed that if money dominates politics, the political future of the youth will also end. He said that he was contesting the election for the last time in his life and asked for support from the voters for the last time. He said that the support he asked for was for the reputation, dignity, self-esteem and respect of the people of the constituency.

As the election date approaches, the leaders of various political parties have intensified the door-to-door program.
