IGP Kunwar tells TIA security officials to tighten airport security system

KATHMANDU, Sept 6: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Basanta Bahadur Kunwar has directed to tighten the security system and smuggling control at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

KATHMANDU, Sept 6: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Basanta Bahadur Kunwar has directed to tighten the security system and smuggling control at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).



IGP Kunwar, during his visit to the Airport Security Office for on-site inspection visit and briefing, directed to pay special attention to the control of smuggling while the incidents of smuggling of gold, drugs, and illegal currency and illicit goods from the airport have garnered public attention and concern.

He also drew attention to serving the citizens with a selfless spirit and providing reliable security by addressing the complaints of the passengers traveling through the airport.
