Implement Mathema Commission’s report to resolve present deadlock: Manisha Koirala

KATHMANDU, July 22: Renowned Bollywood actor Manisha Koirala has asserted that implementing the report submitted by Mathema Commiossion in its entirety is the one and only solution to the present deadlock.



Actress Koirala tweeted that the Mathema Commission’s report should be honored by all stakeholders concerned and added that it is the only 'reasonable solution' to the existing stalemate marring the medical education sector.

Hundreds of people including human rights activist Krishna Pahadi, writer Khagendra Sangraula, former chief justice Sushila Karki, Naya Shakti Party coordinator Dr Baburam Bhattarai and his wife Hishila Yami, Bollywood actor Manisha Koirala, members from Tarun Dal, Nepali Congress' youth wing, among others, took part in the protest rally.


Tension ran high after the police fired teargas shells when the demonstrators moved toward Baneshwar shouting slogans against the government and tried to cross the prohibited zone.
