India’s former external affairs minister visiting Nepal

KATHMANDU, Oct 1: Former Indian External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid is arriving in Kathmandu on Wednesday to attend a function to mark the International Day of Non-violence.

KATHMANDU, Oct 1: Former Indian External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid is arriving in Kathmandu on Wednesday to attend a function to mark the International Day of Non-violence.



National Spokesperson of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Bizay Sonkar will also be arriving along with Khurshid to attend the function organized by Mahendra Narayan Memorial Foundation.

“Both the leaders have accepted our invitation to attend the function. They will be returning home on the same day,” said NC Vice President Bimalendra Nidhi, who extended invitation to attend the function. The foundation established in memory of late Gandhian leader Mahendra Narayan Nidhi organizes similar function each year to mark the International Day of Non-violence. 


According to Bimalendra Nidhi, NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba, senior leaders Ram Chandra Paudel and Krishna Sitaula will be attending the function as guest speakers.
