Indian envoy lays foundation for water scheme

KATHMANDU, July 6: Indian ambassador Ranjit Rae on Friday laid the foundation stone for the construction of Chhapbhanjyang drinking water supply project for Jyamrung VDC in Dhading.

KATHMANDU, July 6: Indian ambassador Ranjit Rae on Friday laid the foundation stone for the construction of Chhapbhanjyang drinking water supply project for Jyamrung VDC in Dhading.



The project is being implemented by the District Development Committee, Dhading with grant assistance of NRs 16.29 million committed by the Govt. of India.

Hitherto, there exists only one water supply which was insufficient in meeting the requirements of the people and they are compelled to fetch water from distantly located sources.



The completion of the water scheme with Indian assistance would safe drinking water available to more than 800 people of Jyamrung VDC.
