Indian foreign secretary participates in bilateral mechanism meeting

KATHMANDU, Feb 13: Indian Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra has arrived in Kathmandu today on a two-day visit to Nepal.

KATHMANDU, Feb 13: Indian Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra has arrived in Kathmandu today on a two-day visit to Nepal.



He was received at Tribhuvan International Airport by Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Bharat Raj Paudel, Indian Ambassador to Nepal Nabin Srivastava and others. From the airport, he went directly to Hotel Yak and Yeti.

He participated in the meeting of the Nepal-India bilateral secretary-level mechanism. He discussed several issues of bilateral cooperation, including connectivity, power trade, agriculture, health and culture,


Before returning to the country tomorrow, he will meet President Bidhya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, top leaders of political parties and senior government officials.
