DHADING, Aug 8: An Indian national has died after being hit by a truck in Dhading.
The deceased has been identified as Satya Narayan Das, 40, of West Champaran, India.

The incident occurred when the truck (Lu 1 Kha 4966) en route to Chitwan from Kathmandu hit Das at Dhunibesi municipality, Naubise, according to District Police Office, Dhading.
Das had sustained injuries on his head and leg and was referred to Kathmandu after primary treatment at Shivadarshan Hospital, Dharke. Das breathed his last while undergoing treatment at National Hospital, Kalanki on Thursday morning, police said.
Police have launched an investigation against the truck driver taking him into police custody.
