Indian Police arrest three Nepalis with INR 30 million and 15 kg of gold

TIKAPUR, July 13: Indian Police arrested three Nepali nationals who stole cash and gold from India in Tikuniya today. It is said that the Indian police recovered INR 30 million and 15 kg of gold from them.

TIKAPUR, July 13: Indian Police arrested three Nepali nationals who stole cash and gold from India in Tikuniya today. It is said that the Indian police recovered INR 30 million and 15 kg of gold from them.



An unconfirmed report has been received that Shankar Saud of Tikapur Municipality-8, Karmidanda and his wife, as well as a Chaudhary surnamed person from Bardiya, are among those arrested. It is said that they stole the cash and gold from a place called Hariyana in India.

DSP Jung Kunwar of the Armed Police Force unit in Khakraula that oversees border security said that he had heard that three Nepalis were arrested from the bus park in Tikuniya, but he had not received detailed information. He informed Republica that the investigation is ongoing from the Indian side.
