DOTI, Jan 28: An investigation has been initiated against the principal of Seti Technical Institute, Birendra Babu Yadav, for seeking money from a poultry supplier that the Institute bought. The issue became public after an audio clip of the conversation was leaked.
Tirtha Raj Awasthi, a teacher at Seti Technical Institute, said the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) has started a probe into Yadav’s involvement.

The Council has also removed Yadav from the post of principal.
The Institute had purchased 500 chicks to teach the students about poultry farming and Yadav is charged with seeking commissions from the supplier over the phone.
Furthermore, Yadav is also accused of his involvement in financial embezzlement in the purchase of office goods, student's admission and other activities of the institute.
