A team consisting of geologists of the Department of Mines and Geology, Sujan Devkota and Saunak Bhandari, started carrying out the feasibility study in Bhume Rural Municipality-3, Jhumlabang.

The task of comprehensive study did not gain momentum in the past due to financial reasons. Bhume Chairperson Hom Prakash Shrestha said that the study has started in several places of the rural municipality

Locals also said that iron mine excavations are taking place in the areas where iron mines were detected earlier.
