Chitra Bahadur Gurung, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Manang, informed Republica that two of the injured are Nepalis while the remaining eight are tourists. The injured have been brought to Kathmandu for further treatment on a helicopter. As per the preliminary investigation by the police, the lack of enough space at the narrow turn at Tal Bazaar could be the reason behind the accident.
