Jaari film crosses 100 days

KATHMANDU, July 22: 'Jaari', a film based on the marriage-related customs of the Limbu community, has completed 100 days of screening.

KATHMANDU, July 22: 'Jaari', a film based on the marriage-related customs of the Limbu community, has completed 100 days of screening.



Directed by  Upendra Subba, the film stars Dayahang Rai, Miruna Magar, Bijay Baral, Prem Subba, Anil Subba, Rekha Limbu, Kamalmani Nepal, Pushkar Gurung among others.

The movie which has been showing since Baisakh 1, the first day of the Lunar calendar, has completed 100 days of screening in three movie theaters in Kathmandu Valley including QFX Civil Mall, Big Movies and Fcube.


According to the statistics released by the Film Development Board, the gross business of 'Jaari' has been Rs 1.7 million as of mid-July.
