Janardan Baral is new SEJON president

KATHMANDU, September 4: Janardan Baral has been elected the new president of the Society of Economic Journalists Nepal (SEJON).

KATHMANDU, September 4: Janardan Baral has been elected the new president of the Society of Economic Journalists Nepal (SEJON). He was elected to the post by the organization's 22nd annual gathering on Friday. Siromani Dhungana and Asish Gyawali were among the other candidates running for the post.

Similarly, Sujan Oli has been elected as the new vice-president of SEJON. He was competing with Krishna Rijal for the post. Likewise, Bhagawat Bhattarai was elected the new general secretary of the organization at the event. Himal Poudel was elected the secretary while Laxmi Kumari Sapkota became the organization’s new treasurer. 


According to the election committee, Shovit Thapaliya, Achyut Puri, Isara Koiral, Amar Baduwal and Chet Bahadur Adhikari were elected central committee members.
