Jeep accident in Helambu: Two Bhutanese dead, injured airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment

KATHMANDU, Jan 31: A jeep accident has occurred in Helambu Rural Municipality-1, Sindhupalchowk. 



According to police, a jeep numbered (Ba 2 Cha 4450) met with an accident on Wednesday morning.

Two Bhutanese nationals died in the accident. There were five Bhutanese nationals and one Nepali (driver) in the jeep. Police said that among them, two Bhutanese nationals died on the spot.


Two of the injured have been airlifted to Kathmandu’s KMC Hospital while preparations are underway to airlift the other two injured for treatment, police said.
