Journalist receives life threat

LAHAN, March 21: Journalist Dilip Singh of Naya Patrika daily from Siraha has received life threat from a principal of a private boarding school.

LAHAN, March 21: Journalist Dilip Singh of Naya Patrika daily from Siraha has received life threat from a principal of a private boarding school.



Singh said that he received the threat from principal Murari Prasad Shah of Dev Ideal English Boarding School for reporting the news of arrest of fake invigilator assisting students to cheat during the Secondary Education Exam.

Singh said principal Shah used abusive words to him and threatened him while he was busy with his work at his office. He has tapped the conversation and said that he will use it as evidence.


Chairman of Press Chautari Siraha chapter Ram Bharosi Mahato issued a statement and has condemned the incident citing that it is a criminal activity and urged the concerned authorities to bring the culprit to justice.


The principal has confessed that he had used the abusive words to journalist Singh while having bitter conversation regarding the news with him.
