The Nepalgunj and Dolpa flight services were stopped due to the intensity of the monsoon, Civil Aviation Authority said.

Many flights were forced to return from mid way due to adverse weather conditions. The passengers including patients, tourists, students and the public have been stranded due to the closure of the airport.

Dolpa residents have been compelled to take precarious journey through routes carved on the face of steep cliffs to head to their destination. The daily essential commodities have started depleting in Dolpa with the only modern means of travel shutting down. RSS
