KATHMANDU, August 16: Shailendra Man Bajracharya has been elected as President of Kathmandu Durbar Square Tourism Promotion Association.
The body organized a program in Basantpur on Monday and announced the new working committee. Purushottam Dangol is the general secretary of the committee and Sanjay Man Shrestha is the treasurer. Dinesh Suwal, Kiran Shrestha, Chiran Ratna Shakya, Dilli ratna Tuladhar, Manish Mulepati and Abhinav Das Shrestha are among the members of the new working committee.

Newly-elected President Bajracharya said that the main objective of the association is to develop entrepreneurship to create a situation for the locals to become self-employed by developing the necessary infrastructure and environment for tourists visiting Hanumandhoka Durbar area and its surroundings.
