Kathmandu Valley experiences increase in cold today

KATHMANDU, Nov 18: According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the partial effect of the low pressure area formed in the Arabian Sea has changed the weather in Nepal.



Due to the effect of the seasonal system, people in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Far Western Provinces of the country are currently experiencing partial to moderate cloud cover. The sky in the capital has been cloudy since morning and it has become colder today.

Although the temperature is stable, it has become a bit cold due to lack of sunshine. Today, the maximum temperature in Kathmandu is 22 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is 9 degrees celsius.


Similarly, on Friday, there will be partial to moderate cloud cover in the Far West, Karnali, Lumbini and Gandaki provinces, hilly areas of Bagmati Province and Province No. 1 and partial cloud cover in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of light snowfall in a few places in the high hills and mountains.


Likewise, there will be partial to moderate clouds in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Far Western Provinces on November 20. There is a possibility of light snow in some places in the Himalayan region of Gandaki and Karnali on the same day.
