KMC bulldozes illegal structures of Kathmandu Mall

KATHMANDU, August 24: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has removed the illegal structures built in Kathmandu Mall at Sundhara, Kathmandu.



On Wednesday morning, in the presence of Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen), a team with dozers removed the unauthorized structures.

A team including head of Kathmandu Valley Police Office Mira Rana has also reached the place.


Kathmandu Mall is owned by Employees Provident Fund. The tenants of this building were using it illegally by constructing structures contrary to its original design.  This had also created problems in underground parking.
