The drive has been implemented in collaboration with the city police. The KMC would not hesitate to arrest street vendors and fine them if its advice and warnings for removing them voluntarily were not followed. Footpath business, a form of informal business, has been run without the official permission and the KMC Office has no data to show their exact number. RSS
